I’ve spoken with many of you over the days, months, years about the idea of getting together and comparing notes, talking about our concerns, needs, victories and defeats. In talking with Peter Vandermark in my office, and Jay Childs a week ago I said, lets do it.

So I setup this blog and a goal: let’s find a restaurant/ partner and meet once a month for lunch and talk about what’s going on for each of us, as it might relate to other producers (/directors/writers/editors…).

You game? If so, post to this site and let’s go.

Such a great idea, thanks for taking the bull by the blog. I suggest Sake or Shalimar. Fri May 25 lunchtime.

If I'm quoted I guess I better be in. May 25 sounds good. Way to figure out how to herd cats, Bill!

Let's send a note to some of the area restaurants and see if any would like to sponsor. Or just give us a break for lunch. Or do we want to keep our journalistic integrity as the stomach is easily corrupted?

Great idea! Wish I could make 5.25, but hopefully I can make the next one. My vote for restaurant is Sake.

Friday the 25th sounds good to me. Sake's got my vote. I'll check it out to see what they do for groups once we know how many and if that's our choice.

Let me know if the date changes...or next time.

Looks like my appt on the 25th is moving to another date. I'm back in. What time & where?

Peter was working on a couple options for places. Let's start with noon on the 25th. Everybody got it booked? Forward this to any other appropriate folks. Marc Dole should be on the list, for example, not sure if he got this. Brian Vawter.
